Maybe this is why I like cycling so much -- because my suffering results in the direct suffering of others or vice versa.
Luckily, with a huge base under my legs, those holes don't go so deep anymore. With the right recovery techniques and enough protein to feed a small country, I usually feel even better on day 2.
This week, I am learning how to sprint from the master himself. It's really the only thing holding me back at this point, and I believe it's more of a mechanics issue than anything.
Our team ride was really fun today. Our team is going to be STRONG!
