Almost Done

I feel like I've been in Whistler forever.  Probably because it's true.

I've been here since the 6th, but I'm finally leaving either tomorrow or Monday.  The event has gone really well. We've been doing camera demos for the last 8 days (1 more!), and the response has been really positive.  We sold 21 cameras in 3 days, which is pretty sweet.  I'm really tired, though.  It's hard talking about the same thing for so long.  We've been super busy.

We've also had a lot of fun.  The people I work with are all pretty cool.  I am very sleep deprived because I haven't gone to sleep before 2 in about a week.  Pretty good for "the real world" that everyone said is so awful.  I just stuck cameras on downhill helmets all week.

Whistler in the summer.  It's so weird without snow.  I'll have more pictures of the events and stuff later.  They are setting up some huge jumps.  Should be pretty cool.

I'm in Whistler until the 18th for Crankworx, this big freeride/mountain biking festival.

We got here yesterday. The drive was pretty.  I'm not so happy about not being able to ride my bike for so long (I didn't bring it with me), but I guess I can consider this my end-of-season break, just not at the end of the season. Hopefully it doesn't mess up my track racing too much for the rest of the season.

 

It's weird being at a mountain in the summer.  There are so many downhill riders.  I've never seen so many!  Little kids, parents, everyone.  

I've been so busy lately.  I went to Cleveland last weekend, and I worked 10 hour days all last week to make up for not working on Friday.  This week, I've been working a lot to get ready for Crankworx.  

I also made an amazing discovery today.  I found watermelon, nectarine, and all other flavors of cider.  I must investigate this, or maybe I should just move to Canada.
